Last minute fete in New York? Interviewing for the job of your dreams? Christening a new tanker, by chance? Don’t laugh. Life loves to throw curve balls, and there is nothing like dressing for a big event or special occasion to cause you to take leave of your senses and whirl you into a dervish. It is all about the clothes, after all.

Enter Murphy’s Law - deadlines loom, panic ensues, the stores are picked over and rash decisions are glaringly obvious. And trust me. No one wants to be the poor proverbial gal who strolls out of the ladies room, woefully unaware of the t.p. trailing from her heel....

We’ve all been there. That dreaded moment when you can’t bear to look at that same wall of discolored white t-shirts and jeans dating back circa 1982 for a moment longer. And yet, you just can’t seem to part with them, either. But then, there it is again. The urge to purge strikes. You envision trash bags full to the brim for Goodwill and in their place, newly visible compartments and wall organizers showcasing your most treasured hand bags and shoes, dresses and suits.

There’s no doubt about it. You have enough conviction to at least aspire to the outcome. But the prospect of it? Positively daunting. And God forbid anyone actually bear witness to this little corner of your world...
